PAULINE WILSON

Pauline Wilson, a celebrated vocalist and the powerhouse lead singer of the jazz fusion band Seawind is renowned for her powerful, soulful voice. She was a defining element of Seawind’s unique sound, which blended jazz, funk, R&B, and tropical influences. Rising to prominence in the late 1970s, Wilson and Seawind captivated audiences worldwide. Her remarkable vocal range and emotive style garnered widespread respect, leading to collaborations with industry giants like Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, and George Benson. Wilson's contributions to jazz fusion and soul have left a lasting legacy on fans and fellow musicians.

I had the opportunity to work with Pauline in the Philippines as her Musical Director and arranger. Performing her iconic song "Follow Your Road" with her was a truly special experience, especially since it's a favorite in the repertoire of many female singers. To perform it alongside the original artist added a unique depth and significance to the performance.
